I have spent over 35 years working at CUMIS where our only clients were Credit Unions and their members. I retired in 2017 and have been able to dedicate the time over the past 3 years to be on the Board of Directors of FirstOntario. I have served as Vice-Chair of the Audit Committee for the past 2 years. I have found it very satisfying and gratifying to be on the Board and would like to continue to lend my expertise to helping to govern and grow our Credit Union.

What can you specifically contribute to the Board?

Expertise in many functional areas that I can draw upon to help the board complete its duty to provide effective governance and stewardship, some of which are: Internal Audit, Customer Experience, IT Governance, Strategic Planning, Information Technology, Risk Management, Project and Program Management, Business Process Management and Lean plus Board Experience.

Bachelor of Mathematics, majored in Math and Accounting, University of Waterloo, Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, CBPMP (Certified Business Process Management Professional), CXAP (Customer Experience and Analytics Professional), ACCUD (Accredited Canadian Credit Union Director).
