As a client of FirstOntario Credit Union, and as a shareholder, I have a vested interest in the well-being of the corporation and believe that I can contribute to its success and business continuity. I bring a wealth of board experience and fiscal responsibility to the Board of Directors, both as a consumer and risk manager.

What can you specifically contribute to the Board?

  • Internal operational review expertise
  • External investigative experience with expert knowledge when referring investigations to law enforcement
  • Extensive experience relating to wholesale floor plan credit through investigating a substantial loss to the bank, then writing procedures to mitigate future losses
  • That schema has provided me the opportunity to stay current throughout my career in floor plan and lease audit processes
  • In a boardroom, through the chair I work to achieve consensus, or as close to that as possible and practical
